These classes are designed for people living with a range of lung conditions such as asthma, COPD or emphysema.

They also promote positive mental health and help maintain mental clarity through the use of cognitive exercises.

Chris Startup has specialized in developing a series of exercises that aim to improve lung function through singing. 

Research has shown that singing has significant benefits to people living with COPD.

Singing in a group is also a great way to meet people and to build confidence. 

We offer a choice of live and online classes in order to meet the needs of all. 

They were originally designed to keep people singing and connected during lockdown and carried on throughout the pandemic. They proved to be a very enjoyable way to continue to sing in a group whilst in isolation.
